Only Delta provides direct flights from the US to Ghana.

All other flights connect in an international city (Amsterdam, Morocco, London, Istanbul, etc.).

The direct flight costs more, but it is significantly more convenient than possibly having to confront the many crazy problems that could occur from connecting in an international city.

Cheaper Flights

Cheaper flights are available from online booking entities (Expedia, Travelocity, etc.) – that have connections in international cities.  Feel free to book these cheaper flights, but just make sure you arrive in Accra, Ghana on the  ——–

    IMPORTANT

Despite the above due dates, payments are already coming in, and flight seats are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Thus, with some participants booking separate flights from cities outside of New York City, and with non-trip passengers booking on the same flight, it is possible that at some point the trip’s New York flight could run out of seats.

If the flight runs out of seats, TamFam Travel Agency will seek additional flight arrangements. However, such arrangements could yield increased fares, and could require flights with additional connections.

    Requirements

    1. US citizens and permanent residents will need a visa.

    2. Jamaican passports will not need a visa.

    3. You will need to obtain a yellow fever vaccine up to before 10 days prior to your departure to Ghana – before September 1st, 2024.
